- Officer Complaint

This department takes all officer complaints seriously.  This requires all complaints to go through a formal procedure before action can be taken against any an all members of this department.

If you have a complaint that you would like to file with this department regarding one of the officers, you must prepare a statement which is true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief.  All written statements relating to officer complaints are made subject to the penalties of Section 4904 of the Crimes Code (18 Pa. C.S. 4904) relating to unsworn falsification to authorities.

Upon completion of the complaint a meeting with the Chief of Police should be scheduled for the filing of the complaint.  A meeting with the Chief of Police is also required so we can be sure all aspects of the complaint are fully understood and what the department can do to rectify the problem.  You can contact the Chief of Police on Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM.  An appointment is highly recommended, however, not required.  He can be contacted at the station telephone number of 717-732-3633.
