Officer Harry F. Hartman, Jr. E.O.W. 12/21/1970
The East Pennsboro Township Police Department remembers Officer Harry F. Hartman, Jr. who made the ultimate sacrifice on December 21, 1970.
Officer Hartman succumbed to injuries sustained four days earlier when he was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at the scene of an accident. He was assisting a neighboring department at the time of the incident.
Officer Hartman was a three year veteran of the EPPD. He is survived by his wife. He was 25 years old when his life tragically ended.
